Cascade Locks is located on the Oregon side of the Columbia River, surrounded by the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It's defined by the the passageway made by the Columbia River as it cuts through the Cascade Mountains. Cascade Locks is 45 miles from Portland on I-84 and directly across the river from Stevenson, Washington. Hood River, Oregon is just 16 miles east on I-84. There's lots to do with hiking, biking, fishing, scenic drives, sail boating, windsurfing & kiteboarding. Take a sternwheeler cruise and visit the Port of Cascade Locks and Marine Park.
